Playing in the Backyard

Not too much to report since the last post. I don't anticipate this blog to have many overly exciting posts, just some of our day to day activities.
Karl and I have been following the bridge tragedy in MN. Our prayers go out to all involved. We heard from Tom (Karl's dad) and Andra (Karl's stepmom) and they are safe.
This morning Karl ran with Matt in the jogger to the park which is a little over a mile away. Emma and I met them there and Matt played hard! We are in the process of transitioning Matt to one nap a day. The goal is to have him sleep about 2 hours in the afternoon. Lately he doesn't seem to be ready to nap in the morning and again in the afternoon. One nap seems to work good as long as he is busy in the morning.
Karl filled the play pool in the backyard this afternoon and Matt had a great time. He is sporting a Brazilian look in the pictures. Brad (Karl's stepdad) and Jeanette (Karl's mom) brought him back the speedo from Brazil. I never thought a guy could look so cute in a speedo!
That is all for now. We are going to Canyon Country tomorrow to swim. Karl will take Matt in Louise's condo complex pool. Matt won't be able to wear his speedo because a swim diaper is required in a more public area! Karl and I are going out to see Harry Potter in the evening. The date should be fun! I hope all is well with everyone. Take care.
