We are tired, hot, and sticky because we just returned from the local fair. Karl, Matt, my dad and I went this evening. We were lucky and it was $1.00 entry fee night! When we got there it was raining
which made it nice because it has been pretty hot here during the day. The rain made it nice and sticky but kept the dust down. Matt had a good time seeing the animals. He had never seen live
farm animals before. He got a little overwhelmed in the pig barn with all the noise. I don't think he knew what to think at first. He had a good time "oinking, baaing and mooing" at the animals but I think the highlight was blowing bubbles in the water fountain and washing his hands in the outdoor sink! Overall we had a good time and it was fun to show him some real animals that we previously only knew from books.
